2004年の民間宇宙旅行の懸賞で優勝した機体の映像です。上空まで別の飛行機で宇宙船を運び、高高度で切り離して宇宙へ飛ぶという仕組みになっているようです。Flight Footage of the Ansari X prize winning flight
This privately designed and manufatured vehicle won the Ansari X prize for a lifting body aerial vehicle capable of repeated trips into space.
This first flight footage shows pilot Brian Binnie separating from the lift craft & accelerating into low earth orbit.
Maximum altitude achieved was on the flight was 102.8km
Burt Rutan's company is working to produce the first space tourism vehicle in conjunction with Richard Branson's mob.
The pilot must have knackers the size of grapefruits.
